What's new with Reap's Embedded Finance in August?
- Embedded Finance New Products Launched: Reap Sentry and Reap Rewards
- Improvements: News Dispute API, easier master account funding, block and unblock cards programmatically
The past two months have been busy ones for the Reap API. We're excited to announce new product releases: Sentry and Rewards. As well as improvements like new funding rails to a dedicated Dispute API, here's a roundup of everything we've shipped in July and August — all designed to give your team more control, faster integrations, and fewer manual workarounds.
(And if you haven't seen it yet — our new Card Issuing page is live, with a full look at what you can build on Reap.)
August Highlights: New Product Releases!
1. Reap Sentry — issue cards fast, without building a risk team

Reap Sentry is Reap's managed risk service for card issuing programs to protect against card fraud risk. Reap Sentry is a card fraud management tool that does real-time transaction screening, BIN attack response, dispute recovery, and Visa scheme compliance — configured and operated by Reap's risk specialists, so you launch protected from your first transaction. Built on 8+ years and 1.5M+ cards, with fraud loss rates 2x+ lower than industry benchmarks.
2. Reap Rewards — rewards program for your cardholders

Reap Rewards is our new API-enabled benefits layer for card programs — starting with airport lounge access across 1,800+ Priority Pass lounges worldwide. Assign a lounge pass to any Reap card with a single API call — your cardholder gets a QR code and walks straight into the lounge. No card swipe, no portal sign-up. A motivated team can integrate in 1–2 days.
Product Improvements
1. New Dispute API
You can now raise and manage card transaction disputes directly through the API — no more back-and-forth over support channels. Programmatic dispute submission means faster resolution for your cardholders and cleaner ops for your team.
2. Block & Unblock Cards via API
New endpoints let you block and unblock cards programmatically — giving you instant control for security events, cardholder requests, or risk workflows, without touching a dashboard.
3. Fiat Deposits & Master Account Bank Funding
Funding your master account just got easier:
- Retrieve bank transfer funding details for your master account directly via the API
- New fiat deposits resource to track incoming fiat funding
- Test end-to-end with the fiat deposit simulation in sandbox before going live
4. Safer Crypto Deposits
Deposit addresses now return the exact list of assets they accept. Anything else is rejected upfront — reducing the risk of lost funds from unsupported transfers.
5. Smoother KYC with Verified Token Sharing
SumSub verified token sharing decisions are now handled asynchronously via webhook. Import a verified applicant, and the outcome arrives on your existing user-application webhook — meaning less polling, less double-KYC friction, and faster cardholder activation.
6. Flexible Account Ownership
Account ownership is now set per account — user-owned or company-owned — rather than at the project level, giving corporate programs finer-grained structure. (Note: company-owned applies to corporate programs only.)
7. More Program Controls
Physical card shipping can now be switched off per project — useful for virtual-only programs
